Internship Program Our program is unique because it offers you the possibility to continue acquiring professional teaching experience in our studio, Flying Tree. Participate in the teacher training program for 200 hours over 28 days. This time includes personal study, class observation, participation in asana practice, time to read, homework, and class preparation. The structure of the course and the division of time are carried out in accordance with the guidelines established by the Yoga alliance (see here).
While a 200-hour yoga teacher training provides a solid foundation, you must continue your education if you want teaching to be your full-time career. Consider specializing in your favorite style of yoga or learning to work with a specific group of students, such as the elderly, children, prenatal yoga, etc. HIIT yoga combines the fluid movements seen in a typical power yoga environment with strengthening exercises to increase the heart rate periodically during class. While your yoga teacher training has sown the seeds, now you need to nurture them to become the best yoga teacher you can be.
Therefore, before you enroll in a yoga teacher training program, ask your school if they can offer you an opportunity to gain practical experience. Once the yoga teacher training is over, you will have a deeper understanding of yoga and its tools: asanas, pranayama, meditation, etc. Once you have completed your teacher training registration, we will contact you by email within 7 days. Even though you spent hours and hours practicing during your yoga teacher training, being in front of a class for the first time can be overwhelming.
Participate in the Spanish course for yoga teachers in weeks 1 and 2, and teach the public in Spanish throughout the course, if you wish. To receive your 200 or 300-hour certificate, you must attend 100% of the hours required to meet the Yoga Alliance requirements. Warm Sunrise Flow yoga classes are inspired by a mix of yoga traditions, with an emphasis on the intense flow of vinyasa.
